Default Mk4 mondy trailing arm bushes

I need to replace the trailing arm bushes on our Mondeo, there is a special tool to change these without removing the arm from the car which I don't really want to buy to use once.

Does anybody know of somewhere in the Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire area that has the tool?

I'm not taking it to a ford dealer just in case anyone thinks of suggesting that!

Speak to the places that do the bulk of taxi repairs. We refer any that fail to a taxi specialists as they have the tools.

Yeh the tool is about 150 quid. I've noticed my mk4 mondeo rear bushes are starting to split.

we have done a few at work and we borrow the tool off a garage from around the corner.

Are they as easy to do as they seem?
Only issue I can see is the old ones being a bit seized in?

I did some and found them ok, but a bit of a struggle as the tool that I used (Sealey) weighed a ton, so was easier with 2 people doing it.

Once you get all the tool with all it's plates and collars lined up level etc it pushes out the old bushes ok.
