Hi there, i was just wondering if a FRST Throttle body will fit a RS1800 inlet manifold?

Reason for asking is i have a RS1800 inlet here without TB and can get the TB off a mates RS1800 but will need to put something in its place so he can still drive the car...so i have been offered a FRST one for a tenner so just wondering if it will fit with no issues?

I have a XR2i throttle body which will fit straight on but the butterfly part is slightly smaller than an RS1800 one but prob the same size as an FRST one you can have it for £10+pp

 

is it for a 16v or 8v xr2i?

ive got a full rs 1800 inlet , throttle body and injector rail with wires u can have for 3o quid , u can just bolt it all on and away u go ?
