Default Buying a MK1 XR2 - Advice needed

Going to have alook at MK1 tonight and wondered what are the things to look for ??
Car has been fully restored a couple fo years ago.

Ford's are not my specialty, so any advice would be appreciated.

Look for rust around the rear arches,boot floor and battery tray.There was a mk1 buyers guide in fast ford a few months back.

check the axle where the spring cups are and the floors just behind the front wheels,sills just give it a good going over to be on the safe side i found out the hard way

Cheers guy's.

Shall we say that it photographed well, the surface paintwork was about 1 inch thick!!!

Bottom of sills had gone

Oh well, the search continues......
