Default 1.8td endero de plz halp

Hi all iv just fitted à td endero de in m'y mk3 fiesta it now wont start iv been told its run by à ecu m'y fiesta has never had à ecu iv been told i can bypass thé pump can Any tell me how to do this thanks alot paul

You will need to bypass the immobiliser on the pump. I'm not 100% sure how to do it on the Lucas CAV.

you just swap the stop switch, its on top of pump fit the earlier pre immobillizer type

Is that thé one with a wire on top if so I put a 12v wire to it i can here it click when I take wire on an off it can i not just bypass it as it been hard finding parts for it lol thanks for all the halp

this is from memory so might not be 100% , last time i played with it was years ago !


if the engine was from a PATS immobilizer car :
To get to the shut off solenoid you will need to remove the pump , cut away a brass shroud on the back of the pump which covers the solenoid and there will be 3 black wire 2 need an ignition live the other needs earth , try different combo's until it starts easily (it may be possible with the pump in situ but i found it easier with it removed so i could see what was what)

non PATS immobilizer :
as above but the solenoid isn't covered with a shroud
