Does anyone know how much clearance the caliper carrier should have towards the brake disc? I did a quick calculation that a 320 mm disc would expand 1.15 mm in radius when it heats up by 600 degrees, since the thermal expansion coefficient of steel is 12 µm/m°C. But this does seem like a lot. What would the standard clearance be?
