Default A reg turbo technics rs1600i barn find

After buying a huge amount of parts from a local guy I also went and bought his last rs1600i yesterday.
Unfortunately the 20 plus years it's spent in its draughty damp garage has not done it any favours.
Originally a turbo technics converted car which went off the road as it melted a piston a long time ago the strip down was started with great intentions and fell by the wayside.
It's never been welded before except a front panel but would need plenty now!
On the plus side it has a great bronze sunroof that works perfect,a good headlining and front arb.
It came with a s2 ford exhaust which is corroded but was cool to see an original 1 again,3 original wheels but I have loads spare,in fact I have almost enough to rebuild it!
Here's the pics.

Thanks, already own a grey 16i so I don't have time or space for a project this big.
I bought it as it was bothering me knowing it was there rusting away.
No plans for it yet except put it in the garage and leave it a while.
Here's my good 1 a few months back.

Was hoping to see the engine for some memories. I had a turbo technics xr3i back in the day, was quite rapid actually.
