Putting a new radio in a old car???

Default Putting a new radio in a old car???

Well just put 450 watt worth of speakers in the fiesta next job was out with the old radio and in with a new one. But when looking at the back of a new radio it has a plug in for the speakers but looking at the fiesta its just loose wires. So what do i do??

buy an iso connector or just chop plugs off and get a wiring block and match the wires and tighten screws

Exactly as above. Buy a connector from Halfords to plug into the back of the stereo then join the wires together.

slightly off topic but just to point out , 450 watts worth of speakers wont give you 450 watts of power , it will still only be whatever your stereo / amp is capable of (normally 25 watts per channel , peak)

Buy male ISO plug and solder and heartstrings the joints, avoid the screw blocks they are such a pikey half arsed way of doing it. In future deck changes will be a doddle.
