Hi all I'm looking into buying a project cossy, it needs a few bits of bodywork doing and suspension, brake replacement along with full exhaust system so what should I be looking at paying? It's a standard 92 k plate 4x4 with 67k on in good running order according to them. Thanks

 

5k upwards I would of said. Does it need back arches. Check the rear chassis legs too. They crack/rot where the rear beam is so it might be hard to spot.

Bodywork needs rust sorting on rear doors and arches (waiting pics) and has lacquer peel on roof and boot but not to worried about that it's more how much a set of discs and pads all round along with new copper pipes and complete exhaust system is going to cost and a set of shocks and springs.

 

Looking at the pics on the ebay link, my opinion is this is a doner car for one one needing running gear.

All the critical points on the shell look like they'll turn to dust when you look at them.....

Been a while since I seen one as bad

 

The one I'm looking at is nowhere near in that bad of a state according to the owner so fingers crossed I can get it. Where would be the best place to source a decent set of used shocks and spring (thinking koni or spax) and a stainless exhaust system?

 

Hi guys I'm new to this site and was just wondering what I should expect to pay for a j plate sierra cosworth 4x4, 94k, about 12 service stamps up to 90k, every single mot to confirm milage, no rot on the body at all, just the odd mark as to be expected.
