Default Fwd Car Track Wheel Alignment

Right guys im looking for advice for the chamber and toe settings for a fwd track car.

The car in question is a 2001 ford fiesta, So rear is pritty much fixed but I can shave my spacers to add or remove chamber and the front will only be chamber adjustable and the toe.

currently im running
-1.2 chamber front
-0.5 toe front
-1.0 chamber nsr
-0.5 chamber osr

obviously I need to sort the balance out on the rear and the front does need morw chamber.

I know more is better but obviously there is a limit before you fuck it up, so how much chamber should I run on the front and rear also front toe when I had it done last I was told having -0.5 toe will help it turn in more so should I add abit more?

Thanks in advance
Luke,

i would think most can only really give you a rough guide as then it would be adjusted on feel.
my focus i set up and it works really well and these are my specs

-3.5 front camber
-3.0 rear camber
-0.2 front toe (out)
0.2 rear toe (in)

i can only guess at what settings id start with on your car and this is just my opinion but id go for around

-3.0 to -4.0 front camber
-1.0 to 1.5 on rear as its axle
0.0 to 0.5 front toe
-0.0 to -0.5 rear toe

dont be shy with front camber but remember if you have a adjustable front camber every time you alter it you will mess up your tracking too so they both need to be altered at same time.

im not an expert though as you know but i do spend a lot of time studying tuning principles.

even then its not that simple.

has the car had its coilovers corner weighted?
What sort of spring hardness?

what are you trying to achieve?
nuetral handling?
understeery?
twitchy rear?

what kind of circuit?

What driving style?

Do you care about tyre wear?

slicks, road tyres, track day tyres?

etc etc etc etc.

has the car had its coilovers corner weighted? Its fixed suspension so no lol.
What sort of spring hardness? God knows

what are you trying to achieve? More grip but I prefer understeer
nuetral handling?
understeery?
twitchy rear?

what kind of circuit? Twisty circuits with very little straights

What driving style? Tbh I don't really know, im heavy footed and aim for the less imput the better (ie, I keep my foot down to hard in the bend and cause understeer and I aim the car more for the exit of the bend so I have to turn very little on mid bend to exit)

Do you care about tyre wear? Not really.

slicks, road tyres, track day tyres? Toyo R888s

Why no rear arb?
I don't run one either but I'd like to know your reasoning. Is it a std rear beam?
I run loads front camber on mine dunno figure offhand. I also run the strut tops back.

Not bad starting point but personally I'd go more front camber.
