I fitted slimline ones to be safe as it would've been really tight otherwise.

If you have an uprated rad then no chance, plus you'd need some space between rad and cooler, mine is about 5mm from crank pulley

As above. I have the same cooler and uprated rad and there's no way you'd get the standard fans in there.
Also don't make the same mistake I did of buying cheap non branded fans. I need to replace mine with better ones now as I could fart more air than they flow.

I've got the twin Spal fans fitted to mine as part of the Pro alloy kit

I don't think you have a prayer without slim line fans:

Mine are Spal too, they are Disco air con fans it's much cheaper to get them off a breaker and they push some serious air, my pair cost me 20 quid.

Same as that awesome bit of kit, blow a lot better and run less current so they help not to cook your wiring, although a lot of folk run uprated fan looms theses days

I was always advised that you need the slim line fans to fit a big fook off intercooler, you'll also need brackets to move the radiator back a bit otherwise it will not fit.
like these

The Sapphire must be different as my 3dr has no room at all.

Regarding the turbo to intercooler hose, if you have the same issue as i did and original or old hose not being long enough in the leg then speak to Matt Lewis and mention me as he may remember as he had to order one specially for mine

im still running a std radiator, well std in size anyway and that's me leaving a gap of about 8mm between the cooler and rad.

spoke to matt today he s going to sort me a hose
