ok here goes.. replaced all power steering pipes on the rack as they wer all leaking. now my steering wont respond it violently jiggers from left to right will only turn from left to right sometimes if i hold it but does it by itself it will not allow me to turn from lock to lock by myself tried bleeding the system to no avail when i empty the fluid i can turn from lock to lock but as soon as i put the fluid back in it does the same thing again. its new fluid everytime. any hints or tips would be greatl appreciated thanks.
there is no leaks but im thinking possibly air being drawn in at the rack where the input and return pipe enter and exit? as they don't seem to be tight with the 1 10mm bolt that holds both of them in with the o rings?
whats the best way to bleed the system? i was taking the pipe off at the pump that goes into the rack the rack was fine before possibly a sticky valve in the rack?
Sure I've heard before, that you have to bleed it with the wheels on the ground, whereas some people do it with the wheels in the air? I'm no expert, don't think I've ever had the need to bleed mine!?

Not sure it would make any difference but is it plumbed in correctly after pipe replacement ?
Cheers
Tim.
yep triple checked all pipe work and plumming going to re-check and replace O-rings and try again if all else fails think ill be needing a new pump to be honest.
