it seems like only yesterday that i first clapped eyes on the s1 and now its approaching vintage status .

I always loved these but not quite your era bud, My era was S2 and fiesta and also owned 2 of each through my time but never a series 1

yep thats my one rich ,havent done a mile this year and tucked up in a carcoon .

my first rs was also a s2 ,white on a d plate .i lived in the isle of man at the time and bought the car in london.heading back to the boat the bloody engine calved .

i have a spare series one here if you fancy a resto job

well it has about 80k [he had put new clocks in that show 44k ]on it john but its had a rebuild about 5k ago ,the previous owner told me it was running about 210bhp ,front mount ,hybrid turbo etc

it will be for sale shortly mate ,just need to get it out of storage ,it needs painting as it was vandalised[cat d] but its solid

No James. That is yet to be built.

We concentrated on TBJ first as that was the one Andy was funding and could be completed quicker. He has about 80% ownership of TBJ as a rough guess. I was buying a house at the time so had to divert finances away from the YB powered one to bricks and mortar, of which I am still in the process of getting in a liveable state.

My own S1 has taken a bit of a back seat over the last couple of years but I intend to get the mapping finished and a few other bits done on the car over this winter and use it for a couple of years before it gets another small restoration. The YB powered car will have to be finished before I start it though otherwise I'll be climbing the walls with nothing interesting to drive. I've been hankering after driving it all last week and all this week so far.
