Ahh right motor factors are still doing standard ones. I've just heard a lot of horror stories with the burton on so not sure what to make of it?

I also heard them but i had lots of problems but in the end also managed to sort everything with a burtonpump. I think a lot of people scream quickly about the pump but there is a lot internals more which they don't check to the max

Just after pump fitting check your oil pressure over rpm range with a mechinical!!! Gauge! Not electric the accurancy is too low. Even on a VDO from 160 euro for 1 gauge i had better reading with the mechinical one from 30 euro. These are temporary fitments

You can't buy Genuine Ford anymore! Atleast at us (Netherlands). But these pumps failed and after only a pump change it was ok? Or also new bearings or sg?
