Hi all new member just saying hi my brother has just bought two mk4 escort Rs turbos & will be restoring them soon we will no doubt be asking questions , seeking info & having a good look around the forum ! So time for the cars one is more of a parts car than a resto as its rear chasis , floors , sills & pretty much every panel is rotten ! But it's fate is to be decided at a later date !



The red one is pretty much mint body wise only wants a few small repairs but is in really good condition looks to have had a lot of money spent on it in the past its currently running a larger turbo with a few other mods as well but has a few electrical problems ! But we will get there in the end . If anyone has any info on either car please post it up will be happy to learn a bit of there background

Cheers andy , Some updates on the red one my brother & me have sorted a few things out mainly electrical problems bad earths , people's old repairs & bodges & re soldering wires together rather than bullet connectors sorted a few annoying oil leaks out from the turbo main oil feed & cleaned a few other bits up . Have got it running better but need to fine tune the timming with the timming light as it doesn't like to idle sometimes have also removed the white wheels that were fitted to it & replaced them with the orginal RS turbo wheels from the white one as we think the car looks better on the originals !



So the white ones are for sale if anyone is interested there 205/40/17s with Nanking ultra sports & one budget range all have between 5-6 mm tread on them & there in good condition I think make of wheels is BK racing
