my sleeper bonus ive had for 2 yrs and slowly developingit and upping the power. love the sound and way it goes, forged internals and a gearbox that doesn't brake is next.
but out of those 18 years how many where actually on the road ???? lol
17 I would say, never been off the road a long while ,once was first engine 1900cc ,and the other time was the underbody and engine bay ,all the other bits have been done alongside still using the car
Coming up to a year, but wanted one for years. It's been an eventful year, it's let me down, played up and cost me plenty. Other old cars in the past would be gone by now, like my mk2 golfs.
BUT there's something about the RST it has a character and despite it being a bit of a Bastid I love it and plan on having it a long time.
I have had my mk4 cab turbo for 3 months nearly now i have had more downs then ups and i am also thinking about getting rid of mine but i dont know if i am going to be able to force myself to do it, mines my daily drive as well, might have to invest in a rubbish car to run me around in and then use my cab for fun
I've had mine about 6 years now. Fully forged internals are the next step. Got the bits now gotta get on with the build ! It is a spec ! Has been off the road for to long now though.
Mines like Triggers broom. Technically had it 7 years in December. In that time it's had 2 different bodies, 2 different heads, 2 different ECU's and countless running gear changes. Same block though, lol!
Loved every minute of RST ownership, can't compete with the smile it puts on my face and the pride it gives me!
Had mine about 8 years now, on the road for the 1st 2 years, stored for 1 1/2 years, full running gear transplanted into my cabby (now sold) left in my garage until Feb 2011 and then started the RWD Cossie conversion, not sure if it'll be finished by the end of 2014 :-(
Owned mine since I was 19 so that's 18 years in April.
As it was when I ran it at Brunters in 2006. Currently in bits while I sort a couple of bits, flocked dash, twin wipers, carbon door cards, black dials, spot lamps.
Had my cabby 7 years in December, not sure it will actually see the 7 year mark though as I've bought a rst shell, just depends when I start stripping it for the parts I need
had my 5 door turbo for 3 years now and im just 20! sold it last year bought a focus st and bought it back a few months later lol. cant live without the bastard thing even if it does cause stress
