Just got a pair of Mk4 cabbie 3i's, ones already turbo'd but the cars/shells a bit of a dog so gonna transfer the engine etc to the other better one but I want to use an RS16i rocker cover I have, and seen as though I already have the 3i inlet I thought it try and use it.
I'm sure there ok to use but just wondering if anyone has fitted an MFi 3i manifold onto a ERST engine and what if any issue were there. I know the throttle mounting face is a different shape so will need sorting out, not going stupid power about 190bhp max.
Any info or pics would be useful
Cheers, Ginger

Throttle body is easy. Just get an adaptor plate off an MK3 XR3i (the manifold already came with the triangular shape for the throttle body, but they still used the rectangular shaped tb like RS1600i and ERST). When you're still using MFI pipework won't be easy because the fuel metering head will be in the way.
The rest is just drilling holes and tapping threads to make the additional ERST sensors fit.

Cheers mate, That does look nice but managed to get a complete Mk3 manifold of Ebay for £19.49 posted
, Not going for massive power so should be good
just got to put a thread in for the knock sensor, There's a nice lug just behind the throttle mount on the under side that'll be perfect
