Stay away from shit.

But cheap, but twice. Just get an Alcon, AP or Helix

oh i fully understand shit pal, i bought a 'Techniclutch' one last year and didnt even fit it just sent it back and bought a ap 2000-35 but sold it when i sold the car,

Now i have the car back it is still in need of a clutch and i just wondered if they were any good. i dont really wanna be paying 300 quid for a clutch again!

Just something that can handle at max 220bhp maybe even less

Ask them what torque it's actually rated to, if they don't know, don't buy it.

Wouldn't waste your time.
Why would you sell a supposed uprated clutch but not put a torque rating in the description?
"stage 2" probably means "std clutch pressure plate painted black"

Speaking from experience I would advise against Helix. Good clutches that do the job, however they are violent and noisy and ruin the driveability of the car.

EDIT: done a bit of googling about Panther. They are supposed to have 20% torque rating over a standard clutch. However, some people have recieved Valeo branded parts in their kits, others have recieved unbranded parts.

Has anyone ever used a CG clutch? I remember calling them to get a release bearing made for my IB5 set up and the chap on the phone really knew his stuff. I see they offer several different clutchs for the RS Turbo?

Alcon 6 paddle and standard pressure plate is a good combination if you can find a alcon and your not going for mega power

I strongly agree with Chopshop85 as I have one my self.

Speaking from experience I would advise against Helix. Good clutches that do the job, however they are violent and noisy and ruin the driveability of the car.

agree about techniclutch - brand new clutch/flywheel fitted to my friends car, didn't even last 5 miles down the road, they couldn't help and tried selling him a different one and asked for yet more money out of him.
