Hello everyone my yellow relay (which controls heaters, indicators and cooling fans) has burnt out around the 1 connector just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?? This is the second time it's happened now in the space of 3 weeks both around the same connector, I can upload a photo if this will help, thanks.

 

by the sounds of it you have a wire shorting or something....did all your electrics work without a problem before it blew?

 

Yes they all worked fine, but the wiring to the cooling fans on the fmic had a connector block in the circuit so I've taken that out and rewired it so it hopefully solves the problem, just need to wait till tomorrow to get a new relay and see if its solved it, just thought I would ask on here incase anyone else has experienced the same problem as I'm not certain I've solved it yet

 

Yeah mine did it and melted fuse box a little bit, mine was a because the pin didn't sit in where it connects very tight, but I solved mine by twisting the pin slightly. Not the best way but it solved it. Need sort it properly
