here is my new s2, admittedly not my first choice in colour but she is growing on me. unfortunatly where she sits on the grass is where she landed from being towed home the joys of rs turbo ownership eh? well there was no battery light so it didnt take long for the battery to go flat.

so needless to say the wife aint impressed with my new piece of sh*t as she puts it. 3hr round trip instead of half that

anyway im happy enough with it, got a few things i want to do to it to make it my own, fancy tiger stripes but not sure on colour, pics of other colours of s2's but not red, i know that idea wil go down like a lead balloon but they can always peel off if i dont like them

she isnt on the register either and if anyone has any info on let me know, ta

thanks again, got my battery light sorted and its charging fine. replaced the split oil return pipe to, gave her a good hot scrub and its like a different car now she is clean

took it for a run up the road and it blew the gasket from manifold to turbo, something else to add to the list of jobs to do.

unfortunately she wont be staying standard for long, over the years ive been hoarding bits for these, changing the lights, exhaust and lowering it a bit, all things that can easily be reversed tho

 

got my clear indicators fitted and tinted tails on as well, gave her another hot wash. after i took the pic i polished a few areas but am going to go for the full t cut then polish



plan for today is to get the gearbox and clutch out, both are feckered, both wheels lock up in reverse when nearing a stand still

rumour has it, its going to rain lots and cos the s1 is in the garage im doing the s2 gearbox outside so ive made it 'dry' bit where i need to work
