I was just wonderin if anyone knew if i could put an xr2 engine into a 1.1 fiesta mk2. is it just a case of taking out the old loom and putting it in the 1.1. also would i have to strengthen the front end at all. Or would i be best just putting the xr2 carb and a K and N on with the xr2 exaust on the 1.1 engine cheers. Dave

 

A 1.6 xr2 engine will bolt straight in to a 1.1 fiesta will need to mod the loom though.

I have fitted a 1.7 x/flow from a mk1 xr2 into my 950cc fiesta shell.
