mine were also the slightest bit too long, i thought it was just me, didnt want to complain though as they seem like a good company and would seem silly to send it all back when all i had to do was spend 15 mins with a hack saw to solve the problem

the diffs have different depths of holes so it's better to supply long ones you can chop down that short ones that will pull themselfes out

I fit loads and have to cut down a few, but as said the thread depth is not the same on all diff casings so we made them long enough to be correct for the deep ones, not too big a job to cut them down.

I guess the other option is to get customers to measure the thread depth so we can supply the bolts required, but that seems just as much work as cutting them down,

The reason Allen key ones were used is because they are tapered and flush fitting to give maximum clearance against any type of anti roll bar.
If we used normal bolts we get complaints they foul the roll bars

Have you not learnt anything from your apprenticeship at pf young man? Today it's your fault that your answers are notthe ones we are looking for so they don't count

But it's ok, we forgive you

Surely thats the best option supplying them with both sizesof bolts or a note on the website telling people that they may need to hacksaw the bolts supplied with the Diff mount! got to be honest though that will sound a bit crap!

First option sounds much better though LOL!

They are one piece billet black anodised, we stopped selling the welded blue ones as the quality was getting worse and worse.

We did try the asking for bolt length at one point, but again customers weren't happy having to call us twice, once to ask for a diff mount, and again to tell us which bolts, and it was causing issues when people were ordering late in the day and desperate for the parts so we just decided to give them the longest bolts so they will fit every car if the bolts are cut

It's one of those cant do right for doing wrong items. We were getting plenty of moans about them not having Allen headed bolts for clearance, now it seems people want normal bolts, if we supply short bolts people will moan they are shorter than the std ones, long ones some complain they are too long.

The way they are they can fit all scenarios which is the best we can practically achieve

The 3dr is the only one that doesn't have the issue of clearance with the roll bar so when i fit my Supra diff up i will be fitting standard hex bolts and hopefully just able to turn the rear plate so the back is flat as i have no need for the counter sunk bolts.

Also i found that even if you check the depth of the diff holes it seams they aren't finished with a flat ended tap so are tapered

You lot are a bunch of girls. If every company that supplies stuff catered for all issues they would end up going out of business.

So as you all own modified cars just get on with it
