If you cann do it DIY its Ł400 for the kit, otherwise drive it up and drive home with it fitted for Ł500,

Well worth while doing it to any cosworth imo.

Well worth fitting. My car runs so much smoother.

It's basically a modern car style ignition system, gives a stronger spark and fires on 2 spark plugs at a time instead of 1-3-2-4 or what ever cossie's order of spark is, Gets rid of the need for a distributor.

Just fit as per instructions with the 2 pins through the grommet and making sure this (picture) is removed and the 2 wires going into it are put together.

I fitted mine 5 years ago and never had an issue with that side of the car at all, never had to replace sensors, leads or coil pack

The two main benefits are a stronger spark is delivered and you don't get voltage loss like you would with a dizzy, as the powered is delivered straight to where it's needed, i.e. the plugs.

You then don't get the chronic misfiring, nor need to run tiny plug gaps, which otherwise would be needed on higher power Cosworth's.

The dizzy IS still required for the phase sensor and also it can't simply be removed as it's part of the oil pump drive, so this needs machining work etc it can be removed and the sensor needs moving to the cam cover.
