I've got one in mine and it works well, i can't get ACT reading and monitoring until the new year until it's on the dyno but it's just come back from live mapping and it's done well on a GT3076 @36psi

Before anyone comments on the core it's bar and plate and the weight is reasonable - mine is lighter than the old 70mm RS500 style.
The only downside is the scoop especially if you run a rs500 bumper as the air slots in the bumper are wider than the cooler but for a Sapphire or std 3dr bumper they should work fine
And it all starts again, and Jenspeed made it before Pete as was seen on car's in Norway but is a design seen in Jap car's too.

But it's made in this country
and it's still a fact if i'd ordered from Pete it would still be in bit's on his work bench - the end tanks differ from Pete's but the general characteristics are the same, the same as all other fabricators used when they copied Ford to reproduce the 500 style. It's a comparison that been done to the hills on this site now.

As soon as the MSD rolling road is in an working we will know how well they operate and what the recovery time is.
I'd put good money on these coolers in question being close regardless to the Garrett core as it was exactly the same last time they were tested but Pete's recovering slightly quicker, thats my guess.
But for the money i payed for my cooler i could have bought 4 to Pete's 1 Spec R 100mm so Ł for performance the Airtec wins hands down.
If the airtec was as good as the spec r is have one in the front of my car, facts are it most deffinately is not. I have an identical core to what spec r use with pro alloy fabbed tanks as I couldn't justify the expense for spec r one.
We have done testing with the airtec at 550bhp and 34psi held from a t4 and the airtec isn't what I'd choose for my car running the same set up.
Spec rl's cooler with 780bhp running 34psi held from a much bigger turbo kept IAT's exactly where we want them I know the airtec wouldn't have been anywhere near.
IMO for upto 500bhp this is a great cooler with a awesome price but anything after I would advice saving for the better one
All IME ofcourse others will dissagree I'm just saying it as it is.
