Hi,

does anyone have any pictures that show where I can find the engine numbers on an EsCos YB please?

If possible, a picture taken from the front of the bay with arrows pointing towards where the numbers can be found would be very useful.

As far as I can gather, there is one number (the Ford one) on the turbo side of the block, the other (Cosworth issued number) is on the front of the block by the thermostat.

Front of the block just above the water pump ? just found this pic, might be of some help...

 

It's on the side of the block, i think it's the inlet side, but don't hold me to that

 

Your all wrong!! Lol the pic is correct but it is under the exhaust manifold , the four bolt towers in the pic are the mounting holes for the alternator bracket , the 7 digets of engine number are the last 7 of the chassis number too
