turbo re-build ?

As some point my turbo needs a recon ,and being not to shabby with a set of tool Im going to do it myself ,anybody done this ? mines a ko3s any kits anbody could recomend ?

i would not recommend doing this yourself unless you have all the right equipment, especially the balancing machine.

give wilky a shout on here he does great rebuilds for a real good price

Ive done a couple of journal bearing turbos no issues, it all depends how far its gone though.

why not its not hard an I can send shaft away for balancing if need be .

good point will do the recon befor issues come up so prob in the next few thousand miles by the way did you get it balanced or just rely on markings ?
