Anyone know what the exact colour was or was it top secret?

IIRC it was a solid colour rather than a Metallic or anything fancy.

I know it was orange!

I'm looking for an orange similar to the Lamborghini/ST shade, but preferably a solid colour.

I would have asked, but didn't know whether the colour scheme was common knowledge or not.

That might not be a bad shout either, although hard to tell from just the grille.

I preferred it in Orange to silver. The Silver did have more Q-Car kudos though.

Best memory of seeing it in the flesh was creaming most things round Bedford in Feb 2005. It was freezing that day.

The wing was a different colour because I'd just pulled it straight after rear ending Dangerous in his Sapphire at Bedford, that pushed the A pillar back and kinked the roof above the B pillar, Lee crashed it in the same place and the shell bent again That's one of the reasons why it was finally sold off and the yellow MG took over.

Whilst on the subject, what were the brakes on it? Just seen a photo and they looked a real tight squeeze underneath the wheels! Look like possibly MGTF Trophy Calipers?

Yes, they were heavily machined Trophy calipers as in standard form they had zero chance of fitting inside the 15” wheels.
