Default Before I buy a bigger intercooler....Some advice needed!

So I have my Mondeo 2005 115 TDCI

So far she has had.....

EGR blanked off
De-cat
Evochips Remap

Currently I reckon she is around 140bhp....Maybe a tad more.

Some have said a bigger intercooler would help release some more horses? I have seen one on Ebay for my car, it is a lot bigger, not huge but bigger than the one I have. Before I buy it.....Will it be worth it, will I notice a difference in performance?

Depends if its one of the cheap ebay ones as some of them are more restrictive than standard items.

Often depends what size pipe work is being used aswell, Too big and you will get more lag,

Personally, I wouldn't bother unless you are looking at bigger turbos etc. A standard one should cope easily with a 25bhp increase. For now I would use the money for other performance upgrades like suspension / brakes etc.

Given diesels are on boost far more often than equivalent turbo petrol engines, any improvements to intercooling is always a good thing.
