Default ap brake size behind comps

does anyone know what is the bigest size of aps you can fit behind these wheels?

its on a 4x4 saph also what calipers 6 pots or 4 pots?

As in my advert,I have ap 6 pot calipers and 330mm discs and there's plenty of clearance but I'm on 2wd as you know.

defo 330 with ap 5200 4 pots or 6 pots not sure which number

You will get 355mm discs with 7040's 6 pots as long as your prepared to shave the outside edge of the caliper down to the bolts.
That's only beacuse the spokes bend in, you can fit them behind without any trimming on old skool 5 spokes.

If its a 7.5x17 on a 4x4 then 343mm may be a possibility with 4 pots calipers. I will measure a wheel up when I get a mo but I'm pretty sure you wont get bigger in there.

Thanks Martin. Could I use 6 pots as already have them just want to go from 18s back to 17s and it could be a balls as I've 330 4pots on the rear. And 362 (I think) on the front with 6 pots

From my experience comps aint the same...

I have 4 sets of ML's in 15" and the clearance is different in every set.

If you have 7040 calipers then they're not going to fit, you'd be better off selling that kit to an Escos owner and fitting the rear brakes on the front and putting a 300mm kit on the rear.

You should try cleaning them some time, its probably pad material build up haha!
