that was parked in the classic ford stand at ford fair?
it's a top secret secret that was filmed for the telly and i spoke to the crew and got a fair bit of the story
but who actually spotted it? and who was there when they did their thing with it?
and, more importantly, did anyone take any pics of it
obviously if it's a secret then i'll say no more, but it's the sort of story that will have everyone guessing

spoke to simon from classic ford about why he had a 3 door on his stand and he said they were filming it for a tv show
so then i spoke to the crew and the producer and it's a 10 series show for the bbc about how they resto cars that have been barn finds
this particular 3 door had "allegedly" been parked in a barn and was found minus an engine and been restored ala overhaulin (and not pimp my ride) in 3 weeks and was "revealed" to the owner at ford fair
what gets me is how you could restore a car from barn find condition to as new in just 3 weeks on a small budget and wihtout anyone knowing about it outside of the production team so THATS the info i was after if anyone could shed any light
the reason i've waited is because i'm not sure if there is a feature in this or not for the mags and i'm not sure who the original owner was or who supplied the bits

But the guy was saying that they didn't have as big a budget as wheeler dealers so they must have enlisted help from someone who knows their way around a sierra
Can't for one moment believe that those folks have been for ed to sign the official secrets act in order to the spill the beans on it

Also a guy from Practical Classics mag was looking for 3dr parts in a real hurry the other week as the car was to be filmed for an upcoming tv show.
No mention of it in the mag yet.
Nope, didnt see it or know anything about it.
So not in RSOC
But I did know about the wheeler dealer sapphire as it was my mate they bought it from.
Was already a done deal before the auction ended tho
