Anyone work on Ford parts desk???
Used to have a great bloke at Bristol street Crewe called Chris, been there 30 odd years, was always very helpful in sourcing new parts, he's trained up another guy before leaving but he's off for a couple if weeks and I'm really struggeling with this other guy covering on parts, everything I ask for he spends half hour searching then says no longer available.
I feel I'm being fob'd off tbh.
So is there anyone on ford parts desk that can see if mk4 escort/ mk2 Orion brake pedal switches are still avalible new?

I have exactly the same experience at my local Fords, the old guy will always try and source stuff for me, even ringing other nearby dealers, and turns the screen to show me what part he's looking at as concedes that sometimes I know more about my car than he does. Gave me trade prices on some bits that have been daftly expensive too.
The young lad who is replacing him on the other hand.... is a useless dribbly twat who says I'm not allowed to see his monitor, and EVERYTHING I ask for, is always NLA...
Sorry Chris I don't know about the switch just wanted to rant too!

Tbh it's hard on older models as they hae moved the catalogue about plus you gett a selection of parts and no real description then discover 90% of the time itts no longer serviced or it's just a stupid amount of money
