Hi guys I bought a Escort 1.8 the other week to transplant the engine into my fiesta not realising it had PATS.
It was a R reg, with a SLUG ECU. I have removed the complete engine bay wiring loom and the loom from the PATS transponder>ECU (Un-cut), the transponder itself and 2x keys.
The PATS loom has a Oval connector with 2 wires going to it which would appear to be ignition live and permanent live? I assume the earth comes from the ECU?
Also do I need the time clock/LED for it to work?
Any help appreciated PM me if required as I know its a touchy subject.

I'm based in Crewe
OK so I know I have everything, but is the wiring the same as per any zetec conversion on the 10 pin connector? and I assume there are only 2 extra that go into another oval type connector underneath the steering column, they look like they go to the fuse box so must be power supplies I'm guessing 1 permanent and 1 ignition?
Any help appreciated
