Default S2 wpn't start after standing

My s2 wont start after standing for 4 years. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why it won't run? Its getting fuel and spark

The fuel was off so drained that out and put fresh in and it still wont play ball.

The only time it will run is when the black plug for the secondary air valve is plugged onto the cold start injector and if the blue cold start injector plug is plugged onto the secondary air valve Im assuming this is just pumping fuel into the inlet manifold?

I have checked the relay it is fine. I initially had to put a new fuel pump on. I put a yellow relay in there it stays on constantly to see if the pump was working.

Heated seat fuse? Does it start on just the aux air device or cold start valve alone when you have swapped the plugs?

The fuse is fine It works if the black plug is on the injector, it doesn't really make a difference if the blue one is plugged onto the aux air valve.

Replaced the dizzy today because it looked sorry for itself but it has not changed anything.

I think the pipe that goes from the metering head to the turbo(?) doesnt have a clip on?

I have squeezed the top intercooler pipe and the flap in the metering head moves about as I squeeze it.

cheers for the reply.

Fucked metering head? Try taking filter off, getting a mate to turn it over and pushing the flap on the metering head down a few mm and see if she fires! Put plugs in right place first though!

Had a new fuel filter. Ive had the bango off and into a bottle to drain the fuel and then put fresh in. I've cracked off all of the little injector pipes at the metering head and fuel comes out of all of them.
