Default lost of job

my son has just lost his job ,the place he was working for was messing every body around with there wages,he gets payed monthly,and nobody as been payed sinse febuary 15th ,now yestaday every body was told they havent got a job,my question is ,what can he do to get is wages they owed him

Not really sure about this but if there was a written contract and he can prove that he hasn't been paid since the 15th February then he can simply take the company to the small claims court.

Someone may correct me if I'm wrong though.

from what he told me ,they was promise that they was going to get half last weel ,and half this week,but now the place has gone bust ,he is not the only one who was not payed,all of them has not been payed,

Not a great deal of point taking them to court, if the company has no money then it's difficult to sue them. I'd tell him to contact citizen's advice, see what they say.

if theyve got no money then he will get no money. I certainly wouldnt have been turning up for work having been not paid for such a long time.

If its a Limited Company then nowt you can do if its ceased to trade no person is liable so interesting who you are going to slap . Even the taxman gets nowt.

I had this happen, need to persue this with the liquidators. Took 6 months to get mine tho.

Me three,but don't get caught trespassing etc.
I settled the boys up when I shut my place but did leave 2 debts,one for bt and one for angel springs,both who ripped me off so that was deuce!!

If its a limited company all the companies assets will be frozen and the remainder will be split up by the liquidators to the companies debtors. So if there is any money left he will get it once the legal process of who has first dibs on what goes through.

That's assuming of course the company hasn't already sold everything up of course.
