Angry Slight Miss fire On A Focus 02 1.6l Zetec

I have discovered a slight miss fire on my car when i am sat on idle and i rev it to 4,000 is where the miss fire is and when i try to hold it around the 4,000 mark by just tapping the throttle is where the missfire starts.
So i thought i would service it to see if new spark plugs cure the problem however it hasnt stopped the problem.
when i removed the spark plugs there was alot of oil only on the threads of the spark plugs for cylinders 1 and 3 but no oil what so ever down the ports where the ht leads sit, the other two cylinders are dry and look good, i am really confused and dont really know what the problem is so any help what so ever would be very kind
Regards Danny

Is your cam cover gasket ok.It isnt split is it? coil packs are common for going on these.I would try a new coil pack and leads.

I think the cam cover gasket is ok there isnt any oil on the engine, the sump is leaking a lil bit however i cant see that affecting it. I will order up a new coil and lead today to see if it cures it, cheers for the reply
