Hi
I might be buying some magnesium raceline rl7's but 2 wheels have slight cracks in them ! I contacted my local welding store only to find out that 1kg of magnesium weld wire costs £271 +vat for 1 kg of wire !!!
I was wondering if anyone has half a dozen that I can buy of them so that I can keep the cost down !

just spoke to my fabricator/welder and he stated he would start with AW 4043 wire....that should be readily available from welding suppliers (mig/tig filler) 4.5mm

the alloys will be a magnesium allay and the £271/kilo wire you stated is probably way purer than the wheels you are welding
