Default Trouble with courier

A warning to anyone who has things delivered from this company.

For the past few years I have used an Internet booking service for a freight company based in Paisley.
I have had the odd hiccup in the past with things going to the wrong addresses but it always got sorted out in the end successfully.
This year alone I have received a badly damaged escos bonnet, ripped and scuffed leather interior and I sent rs2000 headlights and sidelights and the arrived smashed to smithereens.
With all the wrapping that was put on all items except possibly the interior in my opinion they were damaged maliciously by some moron.
Every corner of the bonnet was damaged but someone has slammed it down to damage it the way it was damaged and the lights were wrapped in lots of bubble wrap, packed into a box with more bubble wrap and were put in a big sturdy box.
I can't claim insurance on anything as their excluded items list covers pretty much anything you would ever want to post.
Before this year I think they used dhl but lately they have started using someone else and that seems to be when the problems started.
So I suggest checking what insurance does cover, insure any items up to the correct value and going overboard if you are posting something as 3 times I've been bitten in the ass with this company.the name of whom is hinted at in the top of the thread!

Amazing i have said so many times not to trust them because they had left my car interior damaged and outside my house for any body to take, and then i phoned them and got well you got it then hung up. All i got was well i have used them and they are good, hopefully people will listen this time.

Glad to hear it's not just me having problems,I'm no dealer or trader but I send and receive a lot of car parts for various projects etc and I need a good courier and I'd say I spend around £100 a month easy, this year I have had 2 pallets,1 interior,2 bonnets, various boxes plus other stuff so that's quite a lot for 1 person.
Does ups have an easy booking system like the courier I'm not using any more.
