Well first of I'm the new newbie round here lol.

Today upon my travel's I stumbled across an engine which I was told was a 2.0 8v Turbo. After alot of heart ache, A cut finger and hardly anything out of my pocket I go the engine home and re searched the engine number which is 96BM-6015-AD.

To my surprise it came back as a 1.3 8v turbo. Quite a few part's on the engine are stamped with 'Prism Motorsport'.

Well here is a few picture's and if anyone could give me ANY information on these engine's or 'Prism Motorsport' it would be much appreciated.

That's a ka engine is it not ?

Prism usd to be a tuning co.
Should be about 100 bhp with a 5th injector.

yep ka lump, was never worth the effort really in a ka for 100bhp, would be better off NA puma lump, or 1.6 cvh turbo

 

I dread to ask but how much did you pay for this???

Ka engine, but make no mistake the ford crossflow engine is a good little engine

 

If im honest im not much 'In The Know' about Ford's. If anyone would be willing to give me some information on these engine's that would be great. Are these engine's turbo as standard.?

It's notva crossflow. It's an endura engine. Only things usefull for a cross flow is re fuel pump blank.

Not turbo as standard.

Lol.. The Engine was stored in a work shop.. Actually quite a famous workshop haha

 

So anyone know anything.? Even what you rekon it's worth.?

Wasnt really expecting million's to be honest. You know much about these.?

 

If you had the down pipe and extra filing set up with it the kit would be worth 150-300 quid.

Engines worth about 6£ in scrap metal ? Lol
