So, I am about to drain the shitty oil out of mine after the head gasket went.

I want to put some half shit stuff in for 100miles or so, then replace with decent oil, just to try to get the crap out. Anyone know if I only need 5litres? or more?

Also, I was told when I bought the car not to fill a ZVH over half on the dip or they smoke. Is this true?

Finally, I am not sure if its a blacktop or silvertop. The oilfilter seems to be up high on the back of the block, near the head on the cambelt side, and pointing towards the middle slightly. Which filter do I need.

You have blacktop mate,
And they take 4.5 litres of oil i beleive.
mines filled to the full level and doesnt smoke at all, hope this helps.
