Default C20xe pistons in 2l zetec turbo?

I know you can use c20lrt pistons but I've just bought a set of c20xe pistons and rods and wondered of you can use these in a Zetec turbo and what sort of power they can cope with?

Wouldn't have thought so as the compression ratio would be to high. The Vauxhall piston need the gudgeon pin hole opening out as well iirc so it's not a simple bolt together affair

Just thought you could use them as the seller was saying they are ideal for the zetec turbo and zvh conversion.

I think the xe are for full zetec turbo and the let are used for zvh so they should be fine.
Don't think the rods fit though , you need to machine the standard rods to accept the gudgeon pin

Ive used them in ZVH i have a pic somewhere with the piston at tdc and there a few mm from the top.

And as above you need to get the rod machined to accept a bigger pin not to mention a rebore seriously by the time i was all in i would have been better buying ones to suit my engine.
