i just saw this, and it just looked odd........ then i realised it was a C plate.. i always thought s2's started on D plates ??

There were a few made that came out on a C plate

 

DVLA says its registered June '86, and with a OO plates its essex registered, so probably an early car/press car/demonstator or something

Im sure ive seen a J reg one.

The first S2s had optional recaro seats. The came with XR3i seats as standard.

 

few of my mates have owned the same car a black j plate s2, grant had it first then my other mate neil then another mate benny he sold it and the last i heard it was gettin restored, wouldnt mind seeing what nick its in now.

There was a k plate grey one on eBay a good while back now. Very rare

the k plate grey one, sure theres a story behind that about it being registered here from another country, could be wrong sure i read it in a mag...

 

Someone I know years ago had an s2 on a c plate,windy windows the lot.
This was back when they were worth £700!!!
