Default Turbo timer advice?

What's out there? What's good, what's not?

Anyone got any recommendations?

Best turbo timer is one that's in the bin. What a waste of money those things are. Unless it's for Fast and Furious

Great for willy waving. Just drive gently for the last few miles home and spend the money on something useful.

I can sell you a chocolate teapot or fit a snooze button to your fire alarm if you want?

Thank you for those useful opinions chaps

Not for me actually. My missus wants one. I did say it isn't essential, but she said she wants one, so thought I'd ask!

If she really wants one then get one. Let's be honest, with women it's far easier to give them what they want rather than what's right

Apexi.

Why bother driving gently for the last few miles when there's a gadget that means you don't have to? They cost fuck all anyway!

unless you live on the doorstep of decent country lanes then for most people i can see no need whatsoever.

Youre probably better off just getting an add on to your car alarm to do it. most decent alarms can add turbo timer features. Its then hidden away and usually only operates when you press a button on key fob.

Only time i use mine is if its really cold/wet and im popping in a shop for a few minutes as it will keep the screen clear and stop the sudden "steam up" you can get when you drag a bit of water in the car on your coat/through open door.

A far better feature would be an engine pre-heater so that your car is warmed up before you start it. Then you can literally turn out your drive onto a rally stage like B road and give it some beans.
