Same way you would change any other!

I always remove the "lower fascia" of the driver side dash and wedge a block of wood under the pedal (this gives an extra bit of slack so you can remove the cable from the pedal quadrant)

Feed through the bulkhead and through the bay and then you need to slide it one way in the release fork so it can be remove from the hole.

Refitting is a reversal of the above.

Be sure you take a note of the routing when removing the old one, or run the other one along side if not sure!

Like I say, that is why I use a block of wood that fits nicely under the pedal as when it's raised ever so slightly you get some slack which is needed.

Pliers? You only need to move a very slight amount, just so the "ball" of the cable clears it's seat in the quadrant, so can be removed.

its hard to explain but theirs a part on the ratchet under the pedal that you push and the ratchet goes back into itself leaving the cable slack so you can just pull the nipple out of its clip.. if you get your head in the footwell and see how the thing works its very easy.. the whole job is half hour including getting it on stands..

or if its easier for you you could lever the arm on the box and pull that nipple free then you can see how it comes out easier under the dash..

oh and always when fitting one, fit it to pedal then gearbox. Its soo much easier to use a prybar on the clutch lever to get nipple on than fidgeting under the dash.

All i do is connect the cable at the box - feed the cable through the bulkhead - get under the dash and position the cable directly over the ratchet, lift the clutch pedal up and with the other hand release the ratchet and then just knock the cable down over the top of the ratchet and release and it's on it's as simple as that really a 2 minute job

When the pedal is lifted rite up it's supposed to push on the segment of the ratchet that releases the tension of the ratchet bit as such so it self adjusts every time it's released. I carry a bungy cord in the boot with my spare cable which goes round the steering wheel and to the pedal saves needing two hands in there
