Default Finally picked up the battleship :) (Now with Leda's and white FR's)

Picked my Battleship grey 90 spec Escort this weekend. Well happy with it to be honest. It's up on Axel stands waiting for the comps to come back from the powder coaters and also gives me chance to have a good look around it

Fitted my smoked rear lights, smoked sides and clear fronts now which imo look better. I did like the oem look bit the smiled and grey work better for me. I did have another set of minty mint smoked rears I brought of a chap on once they had finished on ebay.....schoolboy error really only checked one when they turned up and it was mint so never checked the other....when I did the side was smashed to bits ended up cleaning the old ones up with a mop and some light cutting compound and they look ok now but still not as mint as the others!! No comeback on them though waste of 70 quid

Still who cares I've got a super shiny series 2 in my unit

Need to fit my NMS cosworth management kit I've acquired but if I'm honest may leave that to Karl and Oli the loom looks like an electricians nightmare lol.

I'll get some pics up when I get home

Nice on chris.
Lets see some new pics then.
Picking myself a FRST myself in a few days and the temptation to get it over to MSD has started already

Its not going to be to everybodys taste but i like it more and more each time i see it, the satin black comps will work well once there back

I can safely say im the only one on here with a series2 that colour anyway so its nice and unique, it looks so much better in the flesh too

I dunno Kris, maybe a bonnet but not sure as id go for the roof to be honest, somethings telling me to go with a grey bonnet i cant make my mind up.

Gonna wait untill the wheels are on and look at it outside under artificial lights its hard to get an idea of how things will work.

Im well happy though

looks lovely that mate, nice colour. these less in your face colours are the in thing on a lot of modern day sports cars ie morgan. black wheels suits the grey to a tee. it suits the escort aswell mate. id go black comp mo', some polished rs500 type bbs or black esco's alloys. i think the bbs with either black/gold or silver centres would give a different look on a mk4.
