indeed, a lot of car though thats for sure

 

its been relisted - was watching it last time it was on egay.

 

pedals look a bit iffy, and it would really need the abs fitting to make me comfortable with it, but otherwise it's a fairly tidy example, and a lot of car for the money

 

my mate is bidding on this as he has a YB sitting in his garage with no car to go into

 

i have a yb sitting ready too bidding war lol

I thought it was hard/nearly impossible to get the BOB engine to work in another car?

Nice looking 3door , You can get them to run if you use the lot, but it says a new ecu and rewire,that's prob an aftermarket or boa one. Why is abs a bad idea ?

 

my mate said he will pay up to Ł3k for this so we shall see

 

if he's fitted cossie brakes and stuff, and rewired it, the least he could have done was sorted the abs out, after all, it's only a stand alone loom, and much better than the standard base spec servo and stuff that seems to have been there from the start

also, it doesn't need to be an aftermatket unit as the bob will run from the boa loom, you just need to figure out a way to fire the secondary throttle things

 

Not standard Cosworth interior, Capri style by the look of it!

 

2k on top of that Steve for paint and putting the YB in and he will have a cracking toy for 5k

 

I agree on the abs mate I fitted it in mine , not driven it yet and tested it. I don't get why people think its a bad thing? Yep as I said the boa is the cheaper ecu and a rpm window switch can be used. On Fordpower they have managed to get a bob running with a mondeo 24v ecu the maps are very close.

plus, the bob engine is a heavy fooker which may explain why it's dropped so far at the front

i went to look at a white escos shell that that this guy had if its the same guy and it was all a bit shady for me.

the area the car the people etc etc, but each to their own.

See a 24v saff go out for 2k the other day say gotta be worth 3.5-4 k really ?

I no u can get a shoddy 3 door for 6 but if you want a cheap one that will actually work then non turbo the way forward.
