I had one of those in 97 and it must have been registered in the same area

It was a great car and they were quite rare even back then! I took the 4x4 badge off the boot and ran it on 14"s and pissed off the local xr4x4 boys

Welcome mate. You must have a huge garage. Got any pics of your other cars you can post up?

yet to see a gen black one as they were made.

i seen your 1 on pistonheads it looked mint keep it good dried stored an investment imo these days, there must be a handfull of non cosworth sierras left in scotland

It was a great car but I'll make do with my mark 2 3.0s Capri, E46 M3 and my 420bhp Subaru 555 lmao I sold it for an xr4x4 but I got bored with that and bought an integrale! That car I shouldn't have sold! I also shouldn't have bought it

Wait for the snow, they are fantastic! Better than my Subaru! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlamhaovDgY

In all honesty though it was genuinely one of the best cars I've owned, I was 21 when I owned it and it was amazing. It had a piper 285 cam in it and it went well, I bought it because my budget could get me a 2.8 xr4x4 but I considered the 2.9 to be a better engine.

I think the softer suspension on the sierra's also help My mates xr4x4 just felt so much better in the snow and more planted than my Subaru My Subaru was on a standard gearbox back then though

My Subaru now has the 6 speed box so it's also a 66/34 split and it feels like a sierra split which is no bad thing
