Please could someone please have a look and see what the labour time is to change a steering rack on a focus st170 2003.

Just saying. Some things Ive seen them state say 4 hours....and there is no way in hell you'd do the job in 4.

And others you could do it in half the time.

Best way is just to take a look and see what's involved. Looking yourself you can see how awkward it may be

as stated above some time they can be inaccurate but at least it give you a guide to go by

Drop the subframe on a focus, last 1 I did was a 2litre focus, the pipes were seized into the rack, they snapped, and took longer to thread the new pipes through the bay than it did to replace the rack
