Thats exactly the post i was about to make...
Why just cover things with carbon? whats the point? completely negating any advantages of using carbon properly.

Rob,
cosmetic reasons i guess
some people like the look and not so worried about the performance
for me its about stripping weight (im heavy enogh)

Hariy muff, if it was me i'd be spending the money on stuff that actually made a difference but each to their own i guess.

Rob,
thats looks clean. Had a S1 one now got a MEF setup both are 10x better then the S2 setup
The roof on mine was f**ked so i cut the skin off then replaced it with a carbon replacement, the bonnet should be half the weight of the orignal and i only want the scuttle because its a white car so i think i will look better with it the same.

lol its all cool, i can understand replacing a panel with a carbon one, just not glueing a carbon panel ontop of a metal one
,
tbh i'll make the swap to 1600i front arb one day (when i find a decent one!), but it does allright at the moment.
