do you have to pay road tax on a s1
sum 1 told me you dont because its a classic and you can insure it as a classic
is this true?

As far as i know the car has to be a least 25 years old before you can get free road tax.
I might be wrong? Why dont you contact the D.V.L.A

I wish that you didn't have to pay bloody tax full stop..but alas...you do have to pay it on a S1.

new regulations are that all cars will have to pay tax no matter on the age of the car from now on.
all cars that are tax exempt at the mo will continue to be so!

only cars that are pre 72 are tax free, the tax free rule when the car got to 25 yrs old was dropped 3 or 4 years ago
