Years ago a friend of mine had a pink RS Turbo which had a switch which made it have 2 levels of boost. Does anyone know how this would have been done?

 

im sure it had something to do with wiring it to either side of the feed to the amal valve, but thats as far as my knowledge goes im afraid lol

 

can you not use electronic boost controller you can have dif levels boost with one them i had one on my impreza years ago

 

You simply fit a switch in the Amal earth line which goes to the ECU, have this on my car, when closed the Amal of course functions as normal and when open the Amal has no power so it's the same as disconnecting the plug on the top of it and hence you run lower boost!
