Hi,

Just built up my S1, but have a problem getting her to run right.
I just wanna get her going, so i can drive her to a Tuner.

The problem is this,
Is start prefect, on the button when cold. runs for 3 or 4 Min's, then die's out and stops.

It will restart but takes an age, and when it gets going it sounds like is only running on 3 cyl. Over fueling i think TBA.

Also if i plug out the Grey plug on the meter unit it runs great, but is way over fueling, kicking out black Sut.


Any one any pointers on what i could be?
could it be the sensor on the meter unit?.
or a sensor that send it its signal?

I think, from reading about here, it controls the fuel going to injectors, and defaults to open when unplugged, hence the way over fueling.

defo sounds like a metering unit prob mate or injectors.
i had similar probs
replaced a injector and it run sweet
